This exceptional specimen features a cluster of lustrous, well-formed purple apatite crystals beautifully accented by inclusions of dark green actinolite var. byssolite and delicate sprays of chlorite. The crystals are sharply defined, complete all around, and in excellent condition, with each prism displaying crisp faces and a pleasing glassy sheen. The color is an elegant purplish-lilac, the most sought-after hue for apatites, showing subtle variations in tone that add visual depth and vibrancy.
The gemmy interiors glow softly under light, revealing the purity and brilliance for which this variety is renowned. Fine inclusions of byssolite thread through parts of the cluster, creating a contrasting play of color and texture against the lavender crystals. The chlorite sprays further enrich the composition, adding a natural green accent that enhances the overall aesthetics. From one of the world’s most celebrated localities for the species, this is an outstanding and highly refined example combining rarity, beauty, and remarkable crystallization.
