DT Rutile with Aegerine and Albite

DT Rutile with Aegerine and Albite, Rutile’s name was first introduced by German geologist Abraham Gottlob Werner in 1800, name is from the Latin “rutilus” meaning “reddish”.

Rutile was also known under other names, such as “Red Schorl”.

This a stunning Rutile specimen that has taken a classic perfect tetragonal vivid red crystal with great shape, quality, and supreme combination in fact it’s the first time we saw this combination in such quality, and one of the branches being extended by a termination giving the whole shape fine matrix piece.

The Specimen is composed of a cluster of several tetragonal crystals which are so aesthetically arranged together and exhibit an amazing adamantine metallic sheen, good transparency sits next to gemmy green Aegerine and the white Albite sits in the bottom as a matrix making this specimen an outstanding piece.

This specimen boasts awesome aesthetics with details of white albite attached to add more visual effect to the piece and the green aegerine makes the piece unique and super special!
