Floater Kunzite
Floater Kunzite, Basic spodumene is typically colorless to pale yellow, but two varieties of the species, hiddenite, and kunzite are prized as a gem material in the jewelry industry.
Hiddenite ranges from a pale to emerald green coloration, attributed to trace amounts of chromium in its chemical composition; kunzite is pink, to the lavender version that is colored by the presence of manganese.
This gemmy and sizeable, plate-like kunzite is approximately 12 cm tall, with a slim profile of 3.5 cm. Its overall window-like shape and fine translucency allow it to glow easily with just a small degree of light.
It has one evenly saturated color of pastel purple. This dramatic Kunzite crystal is DOUBLY-TERMINATED, highlighted by these unusually fine, sharp, and different terminations combinations.
The faces are striated, with the luster varying from silky to splendent, and the color is nice, An excellent, aesthetic small cabinet of a species very hard to find in this quality and shape!
The specimen is absolutely perfect all around it’s a pocket piece without any damage at all
