This is an attractive, etched, floater crystal of Spodumene from a well-known pegmatite in the mountains of Afghanistan. The color is yellow and Spodumenes with similar coloration are often given the varietal name of Triphane. This is a good example, with a mass of 314 grams and well-developed mouth watering etched faces that are truly amazing and makes the piece a stand out one. The crystal is doubly-terminated and complete all around. This is something truly magnificent!
