Synchysite, a member of the parisite group, is a rare-earth carbonate mineral highly sought after for its unique composition and limited availability; this locality produces only very small quantities. From the famed Zagi Mountain, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan, this fine example displays a rich, warm brown to honey-toned coloration with a natural vitreous to slightly resinous luster. The crystal shows distinctive stepped growth and internal zoning, adding depth and character to its appearance. The overall form is well-defined, with an appealing sculptural presence enhanced by natural surface textures and subtle inclusions. A distinctive and uncommon specimen from a classic locality, offering both rarity and strong collector appeal.
