This fine vayrynenite crystal from the famed Shengus locality, Roundu District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, displays a superb pink to reddish-pink color with excellent quality and strong natural luster. Measuring 1.9 cm long, the crystal is sharply formed with well-defined faces and attractive natural striations. väyrynenite is a rare phosphate mineral, best known for its distinctive pink to reddish coloration and its occurrence in phosphate-rich granitic pegmatites. Fine, well-formed crystals are uncommon, making this an excellent example of the species from one of Pakistan’s notable mineral localities.
