Aquamarine with Quartz and Albite from Shigar Pakistan

To get an Aquamarine in cabinet large size range of this caliber is more or less impossible! This piece is from a well known locality of Pakistan.

The gemmy elongated crystal of Aquamarine with a length of 10.5 cm is shooting out vertically on the well crystalized matrix, like a rocket into heaven!

The crystal has one repair at the bottom but the shape, size and quality is truly exceptional. The crystal has a beautiful turquois-blue color, depending on the light source used.

It is glassy and transparent with beautiful helix as well. The matrix is consisting of well crystallized Albite in association with Quartz.

In person it’s just unbelievable! It is truly insane and the quality speaks of itself. The clarity and luster is the best we have seen, it shines like a Diamond. Truly an amazing find.
