Epidote is one of the best-known Alpine cleft species worldwide, and some exceptional Epidote specimens have come from Pakistan in recent years. They appear identical to the classic Alpine specimens from Europe, and this particular piece is a strong example. This cabinet-size piece is sharp, lustrous, and transparent to translucent, with visible Faden inclusions that are rare. This piece features a deep, saturated dark green with a distinctive zigzag pattern. The crystal is in excellent condition and looks great from the front. The overall aesthetics of this piece are fantastic.
