Tourmaline on Albite Lepidolite
Tourmaline on Albite Lepidolite, The Pederneira Mine of Brazil is known for producing some of the most magnificent specimens of tourmaline ever recovered.
This striking sculptural specimen is an excellent example thanks to its spectacular color and combination of minerals. It features an elongated upright primary crystal of 21 cm free standing crystal on matrix with vibrant blue tourmaline which flanked by nicely terminated small crystal, with great translucency,
which is embedded in a matrix of snow white albite with contrasting purple Lepidolite which adds an overall visual interest to the specimen. Beyond a rich combination of vivid colors and textures, this specimen also boasts an incredible sculptural form and an impressive natural composition that is entirely aesthetic and artistic. This is a lovely example of a beloved mineral from a famous locality.
