Ajoite Inclusions in Quartz Cluster

This is a superb example of Ajoite included Quartz from South Africa! Turquoise blue patches of plumose inclusions of fine Ajoite crystals are prominent at the termination of a stout Quartz crystal from the famed Messina Mine. Comes with a custom engraved acrylic base. Not only is this well-formed, UNPOLISHED Quartz crystal the host for included ajoite, but it clearly exhibits a nice internal phantom.

Five of the six terminal faces of the Quartz crystal display some Ajoite with five faces showing considerably more! The Ajoite patches are irregular in shape and extend down into the top of two of the prism faces.

Truly an exceptional small cab by ANY standard for the collector of all things Quartz, copper, South African, etc. It is complete and sharp, and shows off the inclusions without need of polishing (as would be commonplace, and accepted, for most similar crystals but makes this all the more rarified. It’s complete all around without any major damage at all .
