Aquamarine on Albite with Quartz from Shigar Pakistan

To get an aquamarine in the cabinet size range of this caliber is more or less impossible! This piece is from famous and well known locality of Pakistan.

The gemmy elongated crystal, with a length of 9cm, are shooting out vertically of the well crystalized matrix, like a rocket into heaven! The crystal has one repair at the bottom but the shape, size and quality is totally different from other aquamarines.

The crystal has a beautiful turquois-blue color, depending on the light source used! The prism faces are highly lustrous, showing a beautiful grooving, which looks gorgeous! You can also see it very well on the attached video. It is glassy and transparent with beautiful helix as well.

The matrix is consisting of well crystallized albite in association with smoky quartz. The visual impact of this piece is breathtaking. it’s so hard to appreciate its real beauty unless seen in person and hold in hand.

In person its just unbelievable! It is truly insane and the quality speaks for it self and clarity and lustre is the best we have seen it shines like a diamond just truly an amazing find.
