A gorgeous stellate Quartz cluster From Cabiche, Mun. de Quipama, Boyaca Department, Colombiathe Columbia.

The primary Quartz crystals in this piece are well terminated, divergent crystals of that form a cross with the components having a slender “waist” that blossom out toward the ends into terminations for amazing effect.

The vertical component of the cross is 7.2 cm in length across at the top and the opposing portion at the bottom has crystals that are more slender.

It has some damages but the shape, colour and luster is truly remarkable in person.
