This is a fascinating and rare combination specimen from the famed Shengus Mine in the Rondu District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Lustrous sky-blue aquamarine crystals rise from a richly textured matrix, beautifully contrasted by deep-red garnet crystals scattered across the surface. A prominent prismatic aquamarine stands upright with a strong presence, accompanied by smaller crystals extending along the sides, giving the piece a natural, sculptural character. The crystals show classic alpine form with fine growth features and pleasing internal character. The main aquamarine has been carefully repaired at the base, well stabilized, and neatly integrated, allowing it to maintain its visual strength. The vivid contrast between cool blue aquamarine and warm red garnet makes this a very attractive and display-worthy specimen.
