Wulfenite

Wulfenite is a lead molybdate mineral renowned for its vibrant colors and distinctive crystal habits, making it one of the most sought-after species among collectors. Its tabular crystals often exhibit intense orange, red, and yellow hues, accompanied by an exceptional luster that makes them highly desirable. China has produced some of the most brilliant fiery-red wulfenite specimens, displaying sharp, thin blades clustered in vibrant groups. Mexico is equally famous, especially the Ojuela Mine in Durango, where wulfenite occurs with rich red-orange coloration.
