Byssolite Quartz

Byssolite, which includes quartz, is a striking variety of quartz featuring delicate, hair-like inclusions of byssolite, a fibrous form of actinolite. These inclusions create soft green to silvery thread-like patterns within the transparent quartz, often forming elegant, flowing or radiating textures. Each specimen is unique, with the contrast between the clear host crystal and the fine internal fibers giving it a refined and artistic appearance. Found in alpine-type environments and select pegmatite localities, byssolite, which includes quartz, is prized for its rarity, subtle beauty, and the intricate natural designs formed within the crystal.
