One of the finest latest acquisitions, this remarkable smoky quartz specimen is from the famed Khaplu Saltoro Mine, Skardu District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. The overall quality and aesthetics of this smoky quartz rank among the finest examples we have encountered from Pakistan, displaying superb luster, transparency, and a rich, breathtaking smoky hue throughout the cluster. The specimen consists of multiple sharply defined crystals with excellent presence and substantial visual impact. The main crystal shows significant damage, while some of the smaller surrounding crystals have minor dings, which are entirely acceptable and typical for a specimen of such enormous scale and complexity. One crystal features a fantastic chlorite phantom, and several of the side crystals also show chlorite presence, adding additional visual interest to the piece. Overall, this is an absolutely breathtaking smoky quartz specimen of excellent quality, offering impressive size, strong aesthetics, and outstanding display appeal.
