Rutile is a titanium dioxide mineral known for its bright luster and prismatic crystals, and Pakistan, especially Zagi Mountain, produces some of the finest examples with rich color and excellent form. This attractive rutile specimen features a gently bent main crystal rising prominently from snowy white albite matrix. The crystal shows fine vertical striations and a pleasing metallic luster, while under backlighting it reveals a warm reddish glow that adds depth and character. At the base, a compact cluster of actinolite provides a contrasting dark texture, enhancing the overall composition. The condition is good, and the natural curvature of the rutile gives the piece a unique sculptural presence, making it highly appealing for display.
