This is a fine crystal of spodumene var. kunzite, featuring a rich, captivating interplay of purple tones, complemented by subtle green hues near the termination. The crystal is well developed in a classic prismatic form, with clean vertical striations running its length, contributing to its natural elegance. The upper portion shows a textured, partially etched termination, adding depth and character to the overall structure. In hand, the color appears vibrant yet balanced, with good clarity allowing light to pass through and enhance the internal glow. While minor cleavages are present, they are typical for the species and do not significantly detract from its display. With its impressive size and weight of 896.9 g, this specimen carries a strong presence and remains highly attractive from multiple angles, making it a desirable and collectible example of kunzite.
