A fine 12.5 cm Kunzite crystal from the pegmatite fields of Afghanistan. Kunzite is the pink-to-violet variety of spodumene and one of the most beloved collector gemstones, prized for its delicate color, natural transparency, and elegant prismatic form. This crystal shows a pleasing violet-pink color that softens naturally to near-colorless lavender toward the termination, giving it a gentle gradient that catches light beautifully. Vertical striations run cleanly the full length of the prism faces, the naturally etched termination at the top is sharp and well-defined, and clarity is good throughout. At 12.5 cm, it has real presence on a shelf or display stand. A solid, display-ready example from one of the world’s finest sources for this mineral.
