A superb specimen of spodumene var. triphane from Afghanistan in absolutely pristine condition. This piece features a highly unusual and eye-catching growth, with a slender, elongated triphane crystal rising from the center of a larger crystal. This smaller crystal is exceptionally transparent and sharply defined, showing striking tooth-like terminations. The main crystal is also beautifully formed, with a clean termination and fine natural surface textures that enhance its overall character. The soft yellow coloration is bright and attractive, and under UV light, the specimen displays an impressive red fluorescence, adding further appeal to this outstanding and uncommon triphane.
