A striking pink topaz crystal rises elegantly from its natural matrix, immediately capturing attention with its vivid, saturated pink to soft lavender hue and exceptional transparency. The main crystal measures 4 cm in length and shows a clean prismatic form with bright luster and remarkable gemminess, giving the specimen a refined presence. A smaller accompanying crystal, approximately 1.6 cm long, sits just beside the base of the main crystal, adding pleasing balance to the overall composition. Although the main crystal has two repairs, its visual impact, size, and color remain outstanding, and the display quality is truly impressive.
This specimen comes from the well-known Katlang locality, a small and famous occurrence that has produced the only topaz of this distinctive color in the Himalayan region. Because of the limited production, fine aesthetic examples are rarely encountered. The combination of strong color, clarity, and elegant crystal form makes this a very special and desirable collector’s piece.
